CUE SPLIT

Retro pixel-art billiards for Windows: 8-ball and snooker on one tiny, crisp 256x240 screen. Cue Split is a small, polished cue-sports game built from scratch in an 8-bit-inspired style: chunky pixels, chiptune sound effects and physics that make every shot feel right. Sit down for a quick frame, or stay for the achievements. Completly written in pure Object Pascal without any external game engines, or additional frameworks, just pure programming skills. TWO GAMES IN ONE!

8-Ball:

- Open table, solids and stripes, and a break that actually splits the rack.

- Call your pocket for the 8-ball: sink it where you said it, or lose the frame.

- Fouls, ball in hand and scratch rules you'd expect from a proper pub game.

- Rolling balls: every ball visibly spins, with shading, as it rolls across the cloth.

Snooker:

- Full ball-on logic: red, colour, red, colour... then the colours in order.

- Real scoring and breaks, foul penalties (minimum 4 points), re-spotted colours and the "D".

- Snooker your opponent and make them foul.

- Sudden-death black if the match ends level.

HOW IT PLAYS

- Aim with the mouse, line up the shot with the guide line (toggle it any time) and charge the power bar.

- Smaller pockets with funnel-shaped jaws make potting a real challenge, not a gimme.

- Chalk your cue. Chalk wears down shot after shot. Let it run low and you risk a MISCUE: the cue slips and the shot flies off-line with less power. Press C or click the blue cube to re-chalk.

- Play vs. the CPU on Easy, Normal or Hard. The Algorithm plans real shots, picks pockets, plays for position, escapes snookers, chalks its own cue... and punishes your mistakes on Hard.

- Or play with a friend in 2-player hot-seat mode on the same computer.
